2023 MUD RUN        June 30th - July 2nd

Return of The Old Fort Niangua Mud Run

Due to much Demand, Coastal Country Resort has decided to bring back the Mud Run and a Car Smash Area will be added to this event. The three day event schedule will be posted below as well as fees and rules and regulations for the event.

We do understand that is is the weekend before 4th of July. Fireworks will be permitted. We ask that anyone bringing fireworks please let the staff know and sign liability waivers as well as pick up after yourself and respect the safety of others and the resort. If you are camping with us, generators are allowed. Just be mindful of other guests at the resort.

Weekend Schedule:
Friday June 30th:

 2:00 pm:  Check in - Anyone camping for the weekend check in. (Admission to the event is free if you are camping with the resort for the weekend) Early or late check in is possible but will need to be arranged with the resort. All guests are required to wear armbands at all times.
 3:00 pm:  Truck Check in - Friday Check in for trucks for guests that are staying for the weekend. (All Mud Trucks will be directed to park in the Mud Run area and will not be allowed in any other part of the campground. Trucks will be inspected for leaks such as gasoline, oil, ect. All participants are required to sign safety and liability waivers as well as damages.)
Weekend Schedule:
Saturday July 1st:

8am- 10am:  Truck Check In
12am - 2pm:  Truck Check in

Anyone whishing to bring their mud truck must check in before driving down to the Mud Run area.
12am - 3pm Camper Check in:  - Anyone camping for the weekend must check in. Regular resort rates apply. Designated areas for Tent camping will be as marked. Two vehicles permitted per tent site. All other vehicles must be parked in allowed parking zones. All guests are required to wear armbands at all times.
Weekend Schedule:
Sunday July 2nd:

8am- 10am:  Truck Check In
12am - 2pm:  Truck Check in - Anyone whishing to bring their mud truck must check in before driving down to the Mud Run area.
 

INSPECTION CRITERIA:


NO MAJOR FLUID LEAKS OF ANY KIND-  Engine Oil, Transfer Case, Transmission, (If you have fluid leaks, you will need to see where it is coming from before you play - This rule is due to our efforts to protect the river from contaminants of any kind.)

SAFETY IS UP TO THE PARTICIPANTS - each driver signs a liability waiver and drives at their own discretion . 

(Anyone that begins to leak fluids of any kind will need to get out of the mud pit and fix the issue to be cleared before continuing to play)


 

Rules & Regulations
All Campground Rules and Regulations are implied with this event.

 1. MUD VEHICLES MUST HAVE AT LEAST 37INCH TIRES OR LARGER IN SIZE. 
2. All vehicles must be
 inspected before entering the mud run area and are only permitted in the designated event area.
3. All drivers and participants must sign safety and liability waivers.
4. ZERO FIGHTING TOLERANCE. Anyone  involved will be removed from the event and the premises immediately.
5. NO WEAPONS OR FIREARMS permitted at this event.
6. No ATV's, Four-wheelers, Side-by-side's (Rule is in place due to the damages of past mud runs on other parts of the property)
7. Zero tolerance for destruction of property or trash left behind. 
8. No Glass containers allowed on resort.
9. No Mud Trucks on the gravel beach or swimming area.
10. No Mud Trucks are permitted on Boat Ramps or in the River at anytime.

11. Be Respectful of Non-Mud Run Guests that are staying at the resort. 

Truck Entry Fees are start at $25.00 for a day & $50.00 for the Weekend  without lodging. 

If you are Staying at the resort, and have a mud truck, your entry fee will remain the $25.00 dollars.
